Ilchester® and Friends 2024 Golden Ticket Advent Calendar Competition

Application
These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Claim instructions are deemed to form part of these Terms and Conditions. All participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
How to Enter
A Golden Ticket can be found within the Advent Calendars purchased by the participants. The competition is free to enter, however the purchase of an Advent Calendar is required. If a participant finds a Golden Ticket in an Advent Calendar, they will be a winner of this competition (a Winner).
Opening & Closing
The competition runs throughout November and December 2024 and the closing date is 23:59 on 31.12.2024. Claims must be made by the closing date and any claims received after the closing date will not be accepted.
How to Claim
A Winner must send an email to enquiries@norseland.co.uk with a picture of their Golden Ticket, and the details requested on the front of the Golden Ticket in order to claim the prize. Such details include: a clear photograph of the Golden Ticket, the Winner’s name, date of birth, address and phone number, and the unique 10-digit code.
Age & Residency
Participants must be aged 18 years or over and reside in the United Kingdom. The Promotor reserves the right to ask for evidence to verify the age and/or eligibility of a participant at any time and may withhold delivery of a prize until it has received such evidence from the Winner. Failure to provide such evidence within a reasonable timeframe of such request may result in forfeiture of the prize. The Winner must provide an address within the United Kingdom for delivery of the prize. Prizes will not be delivered to any address outside the United Kingdom.
Exclusions
In the event that a prize item is out of stock or becomes unavailable then a prize of equivalent value will be offered by the Promotor to the Winner. In the event for any reason that the Winner does not take the prize at the time stipulated by the Promotor, or is unable to receive delivery of the prize following x2 attempted deliveries, then the prize will be forfeited by the Winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation or alternative prize will be supplied in lieu of this.
Claim Verification
It is the responsibility of the Winner to provide clear contact details when emailing enquiries@norseland.co.uk. The Winner will be asked to confirm their full name, address, date of birth and unique reference number (found on the Golden Ticket). The Winner may also be asked to provide proof of purchase and possession of the Golden Ticket – this can be done by taking a photograph of the Golden Ticket or the Promoter will arrange postage with the Winner (at the Promoter’s cost). Following receipt of the information requested, the Promotor will review the information and will, within 30 days of receipt of such information, either deliver the first hamper as part of the prize (the Delivery Date) or inform the Winner of the reasoning why their information has not been accepted.
Prize
There is 1 Golden Ticket prize. The Golden Ticket Winner will win a year’s supply of cheese from the Ilchester® brand and friends. This equates to a hamper of 12 cheeses every three months for a year (4 hampers/48 cheeses in total per Winner). No cash equivalent or alternative prize will be given and the prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. The prize is not for resale.
The 4 hampers forming the prize will be delivered in installments with the first being delivered on the Delivery Date and each hamper after that being delivered on or around the 3 month anniversary of the Delivery Date or the previous delivery date (up to 12 months).
The Prize will be awarded against the winning code supplied with the necessary details so unique codes should not be shared on social media or with any other person until the prize has been claimed.
Prize not claimed
In the event that any prize is not claimed or if any prize is fortified for the reasons set out in these Terms and Conditions, there will be no alternative winners and no prize will be awarded.
Personal data
Personal data supplied during the course of this competition will only be processed as set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Notice and in accordance with data protection laws. The Promotor may also share the participants personal information with other third-party companies directly involved with this competition or in connection with further marketing purposes as prescribed in the Promotor’s Privacy Notice.
Compliance
The Promoter should either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. Winners’ details will not be used for publicity by the Promoter. However, to comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of Winners and, if applicable copies of their winning Golden Ticket, to anyone who emails enquiries@norseland.co.uk] within 30 days of the Closing Date requesting such details. Any objections must be made in writing to the Promoter and addressed to enquiries@norseland.co.uk. In such circumstances, the Promoter must provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so such as direction from the Advertising Standards Authority or similar body or where the Promoter determines that the competition is or may be unlawful.
General
These Terms and Conditions and the competition will be governed by English law, and participants agree that these Terms and Conditions and the competition shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
